It would probably be the easiest option for Ubisoft.ī. As long as this is clearly mentioned on the store page, I think this would be acceptable, though definitely not ideal for us. In this case, content normally unlocked with Uplay points should be unlocked from the start in the GOG version. Sell the game entirely without online features, as has been done with some games in the past. They would need to do one of three things, from what I can think of:Ī. As for any issues with the online features using Uplay, that could be kind of tricky.
I've always thought it would take a miracle to have any Uplay or Origin games on GOG, and it probably still would.
